Training is going well. Sister Call is doing "Fantastic". Investigators are doing good. Basically all of them are male so we have been doing a lot of member training and a lot of visiting recent converts.
Sister Call and I traveled to the beautiful Barbados this week, Tuesday to Thursday. As we finally arrived in Barbados we were going through Immigration....I got pulled aside. No Joke, interrogated for like 20 minutes. It was pretty cool. The guy interrogating me was asking me if I was a real missionary and what I do. So I kindly told him a little about what I do by giving him the first lesson. I got all the way to god calls prophets in every dispensation until he cut me off. It was pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Finally he brought me to the chief of security and I believe that her heart was softened somehow. They finally let me through!! So as I was walking out of the airport trying to find my companion and make sure she was fine I saw Sister Robinson and her walking towards me. Best Surprise Ever!!!!! Reunited at last! And we got to stay at her house that night. It was a party. We had so much fun :)
Saturday we had two amazing baptisms!
Nichaulle and Kat were both baptized! It was amazing. After the baptism all of us missionaries, plus Nichaulle, walked over to Burger King for lunch. We were just sitting there and enjoying our delicious fast food when a herd of about 20 young adults rushed in and picked fights with a group of older men. It was insane! Like a full on fight in Burger King. I was really nervous that someone was going to get seriously injured. No joke, chairs were thrown, throats were grabbed, and faces were getting pummeled. It was crazy. The Burger King staff was trying to break it up but it took it a while to break up. After everything calmed down and the herd of young adults left Elder Savard went up to the older men and asked if they were okay. It was awesome.
On our walk back home so we could get ready for the rest of our day we contacted a fellow named Gerald and got him to trow out his cigarette and said a prayer with him. Pretty neat huh?
Then we went over to Kat's house for a barbeque with missionaries and her fiancé. It was so much fun! Elder Page sang a song and played the guitar. It was awesome. We had burgers, hot dogs, chips, steak, red velvet cake, and Oreos cookies and cream ice cream. Way delicious.
We also had a bunch of amazing lessons on Sunday and Saturday night.
That was my week. Enjoy. :)
