Well hello there! :) Another week has passed. Can you believe it? Since it is the end of the transfer and Zone conference you better believe it was a crazy one. I feel like transfers just happened...now I am here telling you my transfer call again. You ready for it? If you aren't...sorry! Transfer Call: I am going to Grenada and my new companion will be the one and only Sister Layton! I don't know about you but I miss that girl so much. She is such an amazing person. I miss she and am excited to serve with she again :) You ready for the bad news now? My visa hasn't cleared yet so they expect a few weeks until I actually get to leave Barbados to go there. So For the time being I will be companions with Sister Maico, my STL. Woop! She is very nice. I will be moving back to my old area also. So yeah, it should be good. It's going to be a driving area so hopefully when I go to Grenada I will lose the weight I gain :) One can dream. This week we went over to the Waldron's home (Members here) and did a whole lot of service! They sell plants and such. They had a HUGE pile of dirt that all of us had to shovel into bags. Halfway through it started to sprinkle and it made the bags heavier. When we were done we were beat! They fed us breakfast afterwards. LOVE THEM! Last Sunday We had to say goodbye to Sister Brathweight :( She has a lot of her family in England and she went on Vacation for 6 weeks there. A whole transfer. I miss her. Zone Conference was as interesting as ever. We studied a lot about accountability. That was the theme this time. I had to give a talk on D&C 72:3-4. Then later I had to give a presentation on working effectively with the branch mission leader. There were a lot of good topics brought up and I was able to learn a whole lot. So as many of you may have heard, Sisters are now allowed to wear pants. Not to mention the huge hats. One thing I was glad to hear is that we are now allowed to wear sunglasses! Yay! But for true, if you are ever bored and have a spare moment look on the LDS website under dress and grooming for missionaries. Check out the attire they are allowing us to wear. I can see how it would fit for a lot of missions but here....not so much. I understand the pants, may even get a couple pairs for myself, but the hats...probably not. Cool fact: For all sisters serving in the mission already the mission will pay for 3-4 pairs of pants for each Sister. Cool huh? Hard part is going to be finding appropriate ones, and stores that sell them. So we have this investigator named Gerda. She is so sweet. We contacted her a week or two ago and she was very willing to let us come back and talk with her. We had such an amazing lesson with her. We taught her about the Restoration of the gospel and from us teaching by the Holy Ghost she said she didn't have any question. She said we taught so clear and simple. What a great thing to hear as a missionary. I felt like I earned a gold star. Hopefully we will be able to go and do some service for her this week. Our investigator Monroe dropped us this week. :( That was kind of a bummer. It was like one of those awkward break ups where after it happens you see them all the time everywhere. I know you all know what I mean ;) But luckily we ended on a good note so it isn't too weird anymore. We are still friends and chat with him when we bump into each other. You know what they say about pictures. It's worth a thousand words. So I will attach many :) Love you long time. And always remember: You rock! Sister Breana Stewart

Mum, Yeah, Kim is the BEST!!!! She goes teaching with us all the time! I was actually at her house when she sent you a friend request. You must have been on because you accepted it pretty quick:) The Sister you saw me with is my new companion Sister Maughan. Tuesday me and my companion and Sister Call all received new transfer calls. The president felt impressed to switch some things up so Sister Maughan came down from black rock and Sister Call went up to take her place. Sister Fisher and I got split up and she is now with Sister Takuia who goes home in a few weeks! So that all changed on Friday. It was unexpected but hey, that's the way the cookie crumbled. So I am blanking an area. That means my companion and I do not know our area and we basically have zero investigators. So we are starting from scratch. It is going to take a lot of hard work and long days but eventually we will build up our area and have a teaching pool. Oh, and I mustn't forget....I am on a bike now. Yup, dear old me is riding a bike in a skirt. If you can just imagine that you will picture just how hard it is. It is sketchy!! Basically I can only wear like 2 of my skirts because the other ones don't work for biking and like 4 of my shirts. So sorry if I am wearing the same outfit in all of my pictures from now on! :) Yesterday was amazing! We were having a hard time getting pumped about our new area and having no teaching pool for the most part. We met a young adult from India that is attending the American Medical College near us and went to teach her yesterday afternoon. No joke, as soon as we walked out the door it starts pouring rain. We were definitely being tested. We road all the way there in the pouring rain and were soaking wet. It was all worth it in the end. The Lady's name is Divya. As we were getting to know he a little more before we started the lesson she said she was going to call the three most important people in her life right now that were on the island to hear our message with her. Her three best friends (also from India). So she calls them and tells them to come down to the lobby. Obviously they were surprised to see us but after talking with them for a while they wanted to know about where we go after this life. So we taught them the plan of salvation. Or rather the Spirit taught them and we were simply to vessels through which that was possible. It was such and amazing lesson. They are going to come to Fun night (sports) on Friday with us and we are going to bus with them there. They are so excited to come back and they said that we made their week. :) SO thank you Heavenly Father. We needed that comment. Thursday was a bank holiday (hero's day) as was yesterday (Labor Day). Thursday we had sports and games and such for about 6 hours at the rendezvous meeting house. I played basketball for almost 4 hours!!! It was so fun! I am getting better. I am so excited to be able to talk with you on Skype on Mother’s day! What a treat. Friday was my halfway point!!!! Can you believe that I only have 9 months left!! It is a weird feeling. Missions are hard but they are worth it. I love the people here so much! :) I am sad/happy about the ward split (at home in Salem). That means there is major growth going on there!! But I will miss all of my close friends that will be in the other wards :( I love them all!!! Anyways, I hope you have a fantastic week. I love you long time! Sister Breana Stewart |
