Instead of the sister training leader coming here to visit us, we had the opportunity to go to her! It was awesome.
Funny story, we kept referring the St. Maarten as home when we were on Barbados. That is a sure sign that you love where you are if anything. We were so glad to be back on St. Maarten. As much as we loved Barbados, it just wasn't the same. It was quite a bit more humid there as well. The first night we stayed with a set of sisters, one of which I came out here at the same time with, and our A/C didn't work in our room. Basically, we didn't get much sleep. Then the second night we stayed with the sister training leader and her companion, who I also came out with (and she is super cool!), and I slept on their futon and Sister Robinson slept on the floor. Oddly enough, that was my best night sleep on my mission.
Anyways, we were in Barbados from Tuesday until Thursday afternoon. We even contacted the security guy at the airport who checks your passport in Barbados. It was awesome. He was super excited to meet with the missionaries by the end of our chat. So, we got his info and called the Barbados missionaries once we got home and gave the deets to them.
Another cool thing!
So a while back we received a referral from Texas! It was a lady who served her mission in Venezuela and one of the members from her mission had moved to St. Maarten. Her name is Beatriz, she is a less-active, and she speaks Spanish! We hadn't been able to have contact with her yet because we hadn't gotten her number. On Thursday she texted us while we were in line at the airport and so I called her! Whipped out my Spanish pretty well if I do say so myself. I got to know her a little and set up an appointment for next week and explained that we were just returning from a trip to Barbados. She is super awesome and we are excited to meet with her.
This week was super awesome. Hard work truly does pay off! :)

Things are going great here! We have a baptism this week for an investigator named Jean Louis! It is coming up so soon and we committed him to baptism last week! He was insistent that he be baptized soon, so this Saturday will be soon!
We got transfer calls on Sunday and I am training starting Wednesday!! I am so nervous! I literally finished my training yesterday!
Me and my companion will be split! I am going to miss Sister Robinson so much! She is amazing! I love her! She is heading to Barbados.
We have a new investigator named Ernest. He is such a kind man, has had a tour of a temple grounds before (so that is awesome) and is eager to learn more about what we believe!
All of our investigators are doing well and we are having amazing experiences teaching them!!!
Short email this week, super busy!
Love everyone so much! :)
