This week we did so much and worked hard while having fun. To sum it up 1) Made a birthday cake for Sister Lydia Vincent and delivered it. 2) Got caught in the pouring rain a few times this week and ended up soaking wet. #everyday 3) When presented with the chance to contact a guy from Spain he asked me in Spanish, What do you like to do? My mind went blank and I literally could only remember, "Yo quiero la piscina." I am ashamed. #notmyproudestmoment 4) Set 2 Baptismal dates! Rupert (July 9th) and Donnalee (July 23rd). #dunked #justnow 5) Went to a baptism!! :) All in all, a fantastic week! For P-day today we hiked to the top of Mount Qua Qua. It was amazing, beautiful, and so fun! Sadly I forgot all of my email stuff at home so you will have to wait for pictures until next week :) Love you long time, Sister Breana Stewart 6/20/16 Well....This morning we received some news. The mission is no longer allowing us on or near any beaches. We received this straight from the Caribbean Area Presidency. On another note: I gave a talk in church yesterday that went pretty well all things considered. It was on Visiting and Friendship. Happy Father's day to all the father's out there as well :) Saturday I had one of the most amazing lessons with a Less-Active named Lee. We brought a member named Listra with us and the Lord definitely had a hand in how everything went. We share a chapter in The Book of Mormon with him and it ended up being EXACTLY what he needed to hear. We had not planned on sharing that chapter with him but as prompted by the Holy Ghost we quickly changed what we had already decided on. The spirit was so strong and it was a great learning experience for me as well. I truly felt more of what Heavenly Father feels for each of us during that experience. Also, there is a huge hill we walk up many times every day. So much that I lost count. We have named it the HOT HUSBAND HILL :) Every time we climb it, well...you get the picture :) I am glad to hear that everyone is doing well. The internet wasn't working for a while here so I don't have much time to email this week. Next week, hopefully things will go smoother and I will be able to email longer. Sorry! I love and miss you. Love you long time, Sister Breana Stewart

Well, this week was quite the unexpected sort. Transfer Calls were last week and I was going to be staying in Barbados for a few more weeks since my visa had not been cleared. However, my mission President decided to go with a new plan. I would be sent to Grenada anyways with the hope of me being allowed in. I was told, "Be prepared for a not so welcome greeting. Good luck!" So you could imagine my surprise when I got that phone call. So Tuesday night they told me and Wednesday morning they flew me out to the beautiful Grenada. On the flight here I sat next to the man that approves everyone's workers permit. #truehomie. We talked the whole flight and he even gave me tips as I was drawing a planner cover that I am going to send to Skyler. #Halo #armorofgod Hopefully he like it because a Grenadian gave me tips on how to improve It :) He approved me workers permit really quick and even remembered my name when the zone leaders went in for it #firstimpressionswag. I was grateful for the easy entrance I had into the island. Now I live in a house with four other sisters. Five sisters, one house....interesting. Sister Benn is 39 turning 40 this year (Yup...that happened), Sister Kaitaua, and Sister Lameto are in a trio. Then you've got Sister Layton and I. #compreunion Talk about a chaotic house. Thursday I met some really cool people. I met a lady named Joycelyn who just got baptized last Saturday. She calls us her "dudes":) Love she so much. She has one leg and is the coolest/funniest person ever. Then we went to see and old investigator but she wasn't home so we ended up contacting her cousin Michael. He was super cool. We gave him a Book of Mormon and invited him to read Alma 34. After that we contacted a lady names Allisha who was doing wash outside her house. She lives right below Joycelyn. She told us we could come back the next day for a lesson with her. #score Then we contacted a bunch of limers on the corner. Then we had institute that night. The teacher was a little bit late but it was an amazing lesson. Sister Cummings knows her stuff. She served a mission and has a strong testimony. #RM Friday is a day I will always remember. I have been on my mission in the Caribbean for 10 months and Friday is the first day I ate a mango. Now I'm hooked. #can'tgetenough We followed up with Allisha today and had a great lesson with her. We did a bunch of service for her before. We washed her dishes and washed her laundry outside. #handwashing #everyting Then we went contacting a bunch. We almost got bumped by a huge tractor while trying to spread the word of God. #slowdown Den we had fun night!!! I met my brother I never knew about!! Brother Stewart is so cool. He has the coolest last name ever! Him and Nia (a member who goes teaching with us) are the coolest. Saturday we had our Follow-up lesson with Michael. We did service for Joycelyn while he read Alma 34. #proud It was a pretty good lesson and he has a big desire to stop smoking. After that we had Coordination. I made some new friends. You know me and kids, love 'em! They sat in on our coordination meeting :) Then a member named Rimble (super hilarious) cooked us all a meal. YUM! Rice and peas and curry chicken of course. I wouldn't expect anything less in the Caribbean. Sunday was Fast Sunday!!! :) I love hearing everyone bear their testimonies. The Chaney family fed us dinner Sunday night. That was so kind of them. We had Nia with us because she was going to appointments with us that day. That was so awesome to be able to see people from back home. Brother Stewart (we call him stewy) had his cousin with him at church as well. So we went and had a lesson with him that evening before dinner. He is way cool. Today we all did sports on the beach for P-day. It was fun. It started pouring down rain. I loved it!!! We were playing games in it :) Brother Stewart and his cousin Rupert came and hung out with us for it. They rock. Basically, I love Grenada and am so stoked to be here. #grenadian #justnow I love you and hope you have a fantastic week :) Love you long time, Sister Breana Stewart |
